![]() I heard once that there was a way to fool the seat sensor into thinking there was always someone in the passenger seat by twisting a couple of wires together? Can someone point me to that? If I'm going to blow money on anything else it would be something I could plug into my laptop with a USB cable and use CarSoft or whatever (still learning about that stuff). This begs the question, what use would anyone have for the unit I bought? You need a standard OBD II code tool anyway, which can reset the CEL, and you can reset the Inspection and Oil Service lights without any tool using the odometer button. DIDN'T keep both eyes open! What a filthy ripoff, the pricier unit doesn't reset the airbag light. So, stuck with the light on, I thought, 'Well, I'm going to need that Peake tool sooner or later, may as well buy it now?' and found out I wasn't as careful as I thought with the seat plug. Then I carefully plugged the seat back in. So a while back I successfully ( :roundel: ) fixed the twisting seat problem in my passenger seat.
